This striking cake resembles a huge, single rose made up of 150 individual petals. It took four people two days to hand-make and -paint each piece of it, a white Meyer lemon confection complemented by papaya and blood-orange buttercream filling.

Instead of white blooms, Elizabeth Banks carried a bright bouquet—similar to this one—featuring ranunculus and cockscomb in a bold fuschia hue. “A vibrant bouquet is a twist on tradition,” planner Jo Gartin of Love, Luck and Angels has said. “It’s a contrast to the dress and definitely more modern.”
